ATTRACTIONS

THE MCNAY

Downtown San Antonio is rich with culture and living in a Center City Home means you have it all at your doorstep. Our top 5 favorite Museums: The Alamo, Witte Museum, San Antonio Museum of Art, The Doseum and last but not least, the McNay Art Museum. Can you guess our favorite? The McNay is a uniquely curated museum, and a converted 1920’s Hacienda, filled with contemporary additions. The wonderful collection of art work boasts pieces from all over the world, dating from medieval to contemporary. Truly as diverse as the city itself. The grounds are beautifully kept and ideal for a picnic before or after visiting the museum. Catch a glimpse of Picasso, Cezanne, El Greco, Rodin, Gauguin, Matisse, Mexican Artists, local and Contemporary artists and even a scene made of pasta–just a little of what you can see here without the trip to Europe. A true Texan gem, you will find yourself visiting often. Whether or not modern art has your heart, a picnic or a stroll on the grounds will at the very least captivate your day.

THE MISSIONS

Taking a stroll down the River Walk never gets old. Although, a quick drive or a nice bike ride from downtown to The San Antonio Missions should not be overlooked, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Looking for something a little less 18th century?

THE PEARL BREWERY

The Pearl Brewery packages culture, beautiful scenery, lively night life, an unmatched farmers’ market, and weekly special activities. As a downtown resident, weekly visits to the Pearl will undoubtedly be in your future.
